wheel/rim question HELP!!!!

I am looking at buying 19" Lorenzo WL 27's for my 2007 335i Sedan, and am having a couple issues so far. The guy at tire kingdom told me to stay away from a staggered setup, saying the tires can't be rotated and I would be spending a lot of $$$ on new tires more frequently as a result of not being able to rotate.

Originally this is what I wanted:

Lorenzo WL 27

Front: 19x8 with a 40mm offset, 245/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 with a 32mm offset, 265/30/19

The service guy at tire kingdom recommended me this:

front/rear: 19x8 with 40 mm offset, 245/35/19 all the way around.

I dont see why I would have less tire life with a staggered setup, because the tires would wear independently on front and rear, just replace them when they get worn I would think.... I dont like the fact I would be going to a thinner tire in the rear also compared to stock set up.

If anyone has any suggestions, or better yet if someone could tell me the exact rim specs and tire size they recommend, I would really appreciate it!!!

Hes right, but staggered looks way better. Your proposed setup sounds good and the setup he recommended would be great for the elders.

Yes youll get less tire wear with a staggered setup because of tire rotation. You want the best of every world (you cant) just deal with it. Far with offsets, everyone on here dont have the same preference...your best bet would to search for a stance you desire and we can decide from there.

I still like rims with lips, but everyone seems to be moving to ones without a lip.....
