Winter tires?????
Hi
I wanna get winter tires for a 335i convertible 2008. I wanna put em on the original rim. The tire shop said I can go one size all around rather than keeping the original size. Is this true? (for example 235/35/18) Or should I stay with the original size tires? |

Assuming you wheels are some OEM 18x8 and 18x8.5, then yes, you can go with one size all around. Most common is 225/40/18.

Yes, you can use 225/40R18 on both the front 8" wheels and the rear 8.5" OE wheels with no problem. This is actually very common to do. Eliminating the stagger in this way works very well for winter and results in better winter traction.

If your current tires are wearing out unevenly, I would look into an alignement as soon as you can. -Charles@VMRWheels
