Nice writeup!
Ive heard a couple guys at a hot rod swap here say they used jb weld.. I think the Bondo / Spot Putty method would be preferable...

i did that procedure once. if you have stock wheels, matching the paint should be easy, so it can come out looking almost perfect..if you have aftermarket wheels and no paint code, you might have a hard time getting the exact color match..mine was some hyper silver so matching without the code was a problem.

I dont think you will find any other method other then putty/sand/paint.

i've used the worth paints, excl results, good colour match and the quality of the spray paint is exceptional,as compared to halfords aerosol paints i've used before covers and finishes really well
