Vmrs vs miro

So I'm stuck trying to decide between the 710 and the 111. Does anyone know what the difference is between how they are made? I read a post that said that the vmr are made cheaply basically that they are made like creepy crawlers if anyone remembers those. Another question, which ones weigh less? I'm planning on doing 19s, all help is appreciated thanks.

I am pretty sure they are both gravity cast wheels which is probably the least sought after form of casting for wheels as they are heavier than most and bend easier. Next would be Low Pressure Cast then Flow Formed, after that you get into your forged wheels which obviously demand a larger budget but some feel they are worth the money.

Our wheels are Low Pressure Cast. A better process than both VMR and Miro. Check your PM for more details.

The Avant Garde m310 is also a low pressure cast wheel, offering a strong and lightweight whell compared to a gravity cast wheel.

Also, I have owned 2 sets of VMR's and carry them as well, and have never had an issue with them. Client love them and the VMR guys know what they are doing.

Let me know if you need any help on a setup

OP,

Our wheels are a 1-piece cast and are JWL/VIA certified for strength and safety. We have a handful of East Coast customers who have had our wheels for years and have had great success all year round. We do back our wheels with a 1-year warranty on any manufacturing defects of defects on the finish. With working with the E9x and E46 communities very closely, we do stand behind our products 100%. We are always a phone call, pm, or email away if you ever have any questions about our products.

If you have any further questions, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Here are some photos of our V710's in 19" on an E92 M3 to get the ball rolling.

The Miro 111 is a low pressure cast wheel and is an extremely popular choice among my customers not only in the E9X community but especially within the M5 community. The Miro 111 features a concave design and has been a favorite wheel choice for that reason. Here are some pictures for you to check out on both an E90 and E92

You can run M3 offsets in the rear with a fender roll without any rubbing issues.

19x9.5 ET22 - 265/30/19

Avant Garde M310:

So why didn't you call miro to try and get these warrantied or something I'm assuming that they would have done something for you. If you bought these from our vendors I'm sure they wouldn't want a bad review on their product.

obviously the first thing I did is contact the vendor and Miro and send them a bunch of pictures,

from Miro's perspective it's road hazard since I hit a pothole not a wheel defect ,from my perspective its bull as it was a very small hole at very moderate speed furthermore because of the way the wheels are made (painted and machine faced) they are too costly to repair

The Vendor offered to sell me a replacement at cost, I have put the wheels for sale and will let the buyer benefit from it

Sorry, I haven't posted pics yet, but I have the silver Miro 111's on my SG e92 335i, and they look great!

I'm running 10mm spacers on the front (with lowering perches) and 5mm spacers on the rear (rolled fenders) and I have no problem with rubbing (except for mild rubbing on that damn fender lining, rear passenger side over VERY large bumps and a full tank).

IMO, you can even get away with 10mm spacers on the rear, with a roll of course. Tires, 235/35/19 and 275/30/19, Falken 452's.

Considering my setup, is it safe to assume you could get away with a 19" wheel, F-25et and R-28et for the coupe, and drop spacers all together?

Thanks to Alan at **********s for the excellent customer service and awesome deal. Pictures to come.

Just be careful of the very fragile and WEAK finish of the MiroWheels Mine are flaking after 7 mos. others have also come to me with similar complaints "WEBB" from mod bargains himself said that using SimpleGreen a couple times even diluted caused my paint to flake..If you ask me that is some WEAK a$$ clearcoat and paint they WILL void your warranty ask me how I know
