8 or 8.5 all-around

I'll be putting in the bmw performance suspension soon and when I upgrade my wheels it will be either forgestar F14 or BBS RG-R, if I can afford them. Leaning toward's 18"s but may stick with 17"s for road conditions where I live and ride quality.

Anyway my question for now is, do I go with 8 or 8.5 all around (I don't want any wider than that)? Does it make much difference in handling or comfort?

Thanks,
Howard

8-8.5" wheels will not make much of a difference at all for daily driving conditions. You can go wither either setup.

Not sure why I didn't get a notification of the reply to this post. Anyway, I live
about 30 miles north of NYC.

Agreed that it won't make much difference whether 18X8 or 18X8.5".
