JB3 Broken Pin Fix?

While I was pulling out my jb3 i managed to break one of the female pins off...

Im not very handy so there may be an obvious fix that you guys know of to get it back on there... Do i just need to solder it back on or is there a better method?

On the PnP harness or on the Serial connection on the JB3 itself?
If it is just one of the little red/black/yellow wires in the harness then just PM terry and he can ship you a new one. If it is a pin on the JB3 itself then you would either have to get a replacement or if you are capable just desolder the connector, get a new one from radioshack or somewhere similar, and solder the new one on.

Pinout version. It was the female purple wire on the jb3 harness... I'll send Terry an email and see what he says.

This is what you need.

Radio shack will have these.

1) Helping hands, Its a nice lil gadget that holds the wire you will be soldering and also has a maginfying glass

2) solder wire ( the thinnest they have)

3) solderer about $10

All should cost you about $30 and is very helpful in the future if you break another pin.

Thats the only real way of fixing it the right way.
