What are some good xi drop setups?

So what is good setup for an xi drop, for a daily driver. Looks being one thing but comfort most important.

Even tho you were mean to me, I guess I can share my knowledge with you.

I am running H&R Sport Spring with my OEM shocks and are no longer running rft's, I can say it does ride better than the stock suspension with the rft tires.
Most people will run Koni Yellows with the H&R Springs for better ride quality.

I think most will agree with me that if it is comfort you are looking for, I suggest coil overs as you can set your rates and have a plethora of set ups that satisfy the driver. Only problem is they are going to cost at a minimum probably close to $2K.

If it is coil overs you go with, most people on here are probably running KW's.

glw ur search

I've heard nothing but problems regarding KW's xi coilovers...lots of members are experiening blown shocks less than a year in

I have H&R Sport springs on stock shocks with non runflat tires and could not be happier. IMO, it's the best value in terms of dropping your car. You could pair them with Bilstein sport shocks to get a little more dampening if you want

Are the hr springs on stock struts really as stiff as everyone says. I drive in Chicago and the roads are pretty crappy. Plus I dont want everything rattling in my car.

Been riding on kw v1's for my xi (even took it to the track a couple times)for almost a year now and don't have any complaints. The ride is great, and I have the height set exactly to the level I want it at.

I'm on H&R Sport Springs in Boston and have no complaints. The ride is obviously stiffer than stock but that's true for any lowered car.
