Has Anyone Installed Infinty Basslink On E90

Just wondering if someone has installed the basslink to their cars and how to do it. I just purcahsed it and can't find an installation kit to make the process easier. I will proably end up installing it myself by tapping the wires.

Its a powered subwoofer which had the amp and speaker in one package. The speaker is designed and made by infinty and sounds very good.

Your unhappy with the Logic 7 sound system ??? Wow.. And you think an aftermarket Sub woofer(more bass) is going to improve the system..?? There are already 2 Subs in the car...

there are 2 subs in the base 325 stereo too

number of subs is no way to judge quality, I'm sure the logic 7 is good but there's always room for improvement

I think you should put a quality product into the car if you're going to do it though. The infiniti looks too much like it's been designed for looks not performance. Good speakers generally come separate from the box.

you don't want to "upgrade" your system with crappy parts and make it worse than before

Just make sure you don't F up the computer, very expensive to restore when it's not covered.

If you dont have cold weather or fold down seats it is a waste of money!

ANyone actually now have this installed? I may want to put this in my vehicle, or get a higher end sub along with my JL Audio 250/1 amp.

I had it in my old C class.... it was just enough bass for me, but it wouldnt be enough to show off or anything.

I actually think the logic7 is terrible.. it has no highs and the lows are even worse.

If you install your self I do not know where you will get your remote start, otherwise powering from the amp and tapping the rear deck should be simple.

i had the basslink on my prelude. it worked out nice but nothing to write home about. it just added a lil more thump. the only prob with this is i dunno how it would connect to the factory stereo on the bimmer. damn MOST.

I had it in my e46. As stated, if you don't have fold down seats, it will be very hard to hear. It worked okay, but I always had a slight drain on the battery. I'm sure it was an installation issue.

Thanks....I'll probably get a JL Sub or ID Max sub with my JL 250/1 amp hooked up to the logic 7 when my damn car comes in!

basslink sucks, sound quality-wise... but it's a small, clean package if you're looking to add some oomph, but save the trunk space.

As for install, it installs like any other sub/amp... power, ground, remote, audio inputs... search on the forums for install guides. The only tricky thing really about the install is the remote wire --some people have used one of those speaker level activated remote boxes (dunno what it's called) or there are other places to run a remote from.
