M-Sport Wheel Size...Hmmmm

I've got a UK spec 525d M Sport Touring for which I ordered the 19inch rim option.

I was under the impression that the rears are a 275 profile and the fronts are a 245 profile, but I seem to have 245's all around?

Can anyone confirm the wheel sizes they have on their similar cars please.

Thanks in advance

Simon

Cancel that....

Sorry.. cancel the above question.

Just found out that the F10 has way more options over the F11 for wheels and colours (very odd) and there are 19inch rimes with a 275 profile for that car.

At least it will save me £100 per tyre at replacement time.

The rears for 20 inch rimes (356's) for the F11 seems to be 275 which makes it even more confusing.

The E39 and E61 touring were the same, same size wheels on all corners.

There has been comment on the reasons why, better handling balance, unsrung weight on the rear air suspension, etc. Bigger wheels change that, not always for the better.

to be honest i've not looked to see....i've got the 19's as well on my F11. if the F11 has the same all round there's got to be a reason for it you'd think. i know my tyres are goodyear RFT's but didn't look closely enough to see the size. will check later.
