Group Buying cars

Next time we plan buy cars, I guess we should plan a group buy like this guy. I recall when I bought mine, I did rope in 2 work mates with to do a group buy on three 320i's but they went with other cars when came time to buy

+1 I get so depressed when i look at US pricing for everything.

I swear our minimum wage here in sydney needs to be halved.

Word!

Youtube has pizza delivery boys cruising around in new 335's and young girls getting 328's as graduation presents, etc...

Minimum wage in NY state is $2.19 per hour. Employers are allowed to pay below this rate as long as tips cover up to the minimum amount.

I 'group bought' my car with my dad and we managed to save some. Looks like we'll have to organise an e90post 'car purchase meet' sometime in the future

This is only for tipped based employment huh. Minimum amount is $7.25+/hr as defined per state. link

As long as the waiter/waitress is making minimum wage (in the link provided) in that month including their tips, then it's all legit. Otherwise the employer has to make up the difference. linky

I was reading about how some servers were making $20-50/hr on a good night, whilst on a bad night they couldn't even reach minimum wage...

$2.19 per hr, now thats what i am talking about. The gap between the haves and the have nots needs to widen before we can all enjoy more luxuary.

Price rip off reason #1: LCT, stamp duty

Price rip off reason #2: You can't order cars direct from overseas on eBay.

Price rip off reason #3: Pointless ADRs. Do we really need child seat mounting types different from elsewhere? Are Aussie babies a different shape to European babies?

Not really sure that's a contest. Unless you mean race him in paying off my loan.
