OK, I was going to just suggest "Search this Forum", type in "BBK", and click "Go". But I'll take it a step past that just to answer my own nagging question I've had for a long time, "Is it really any different from the 'i' ?". So I just spent about 30 minutes comparing 335i brake parts to 335xi parts over at realoem.com with Firefox and IE (to make sure there was no HTML cookie or session BS) and I found absolutely no differences between the two in regards to caliper part numbers, the (probably most important) brake carrier (aka brake bracket) part numbers, and rotor part numbers (i.e. their diameters!!! which by the way are 348mm x 30mm for front and 336mm x 22mm for rear), nor therefore any price differences either, between 335xi and 335i. (I did not check between 328xi and 328i, sorry.) Thus I say whatever fits on i will fit on xi. However, the inner barrel diameter of your wheel may make a difference. So there may be an 18" or even 19" wheel requirement with the particular BBK of your lustful and money wasting desire.

if alcon makes a set for the 335 xi they would be my first choice, i had them as well as brembo on my a4/s4...and i would definitely lean towards alcon |

im already running 19's so wheels aren't an issue. the issue is the tiny brakes and rotors inside the wheels, i just want to be 200% sure before i go and drop 2.5k+ on something that isn't going to fit

I tried fitting the front stock brembo 135i brakes on my e90 330xi and they don't fit. You could make them fit by fabricating a custom bracket, but i'm still not sure if i want to go through the hassle, let alone safety issues.
However, i know they fit on the e90/e92 328i as some local members (ie Hedges/Kriston) have had success, but not 100% sure about xi. |

As soon as I get an E90, I'm making a BBK for it! I might go out and purchase a spindle to get going on this right away. I haven't been this excited about getting another car in a long time.
