Major shudder, loss of power and CEL what's going on?
I was pulling onto a freeway on a slight uphill ramp and was accelerating when the engine light came on and the car started to shudder.
It seemed like a misfire or as if it was running on 3 cylinders. I was on map 1. I don't think that it is related to the procede, but i wonder if it was? I had to pull over and try to restart the car. It took about three shits to get it running normal again. I have had the HPFP checked and the dealer said it was OK. Not sure if it is related, but the DCT currently has a fault that it won't go into Park. BMW are sending a new actuator cable from Germany. Normally the car just wont go into Park, however the other day it indicated that it was in neutral when I was traveling at 100km/h. It was OK, just a warning on the idrive. Today, it seemed as though the car went into N when accelerating then the CEL came on. Any ideas? |

I have had every iteration of Procede on my car from V1 ---> current V5 starting at 12,000 miles and I now have 54,000 miles. To date I only had 1 procede related issue, in which Shiv had already resolved with newer maps that he emailed me that day. |
