328xi lagging... and just tried DS mode!

Wow! It's what I expected from this car.

After experiencing around 1 sec delay acceleration in highway, I started regretting... I should've bought 335i... I really hated the delay.

Last night I read almost all the threads about 328xi lagging, and found that DS mode can minimize the lagging, which I hadn't tried.

So I choose longer way to shop grocery via highway. Oh my god! It was what I was hoping and begging from this car. No lag any more! As I press the pedal, it goes. Love it and love it. I just came back from Pearson Airport to pick up nobody. so much fun... really really fun.

Now I am more than waiting my 19" summer package to be installed. I believe it will add more fun. - Here in Toronto it's still under 7 degree.

Do you mean DSC mode? My friend and I recently both got 328xi's and we experience the same lag in acceleration, how did you activate "DS mode"? Thanks...

Do you have manual? If you do, there is no such thing as DS mode.

If you have auto, simply shift your gear shifter to the left when it's in D.

chek out the bms powerbox if you want something that can adjust the mapping to get rid of the lag completely.http://www.burgertuning.com/BMS_Power_Box.html

Yup I have an auto, I tried it out this morning on the way to work, the car feels completely different. I smoked some guy in a Honda with “fart canon” from a dig for added measure
