Aluminum trim repairs
I have the aluminum trim in my E90 and when i bought the car it was scratched really bad
On the door trims, all four doors I have done some searching but havent found a way of fixing it other than getting it vinyl wrapped which i dont want to do. Some people in the states have stated they got it replaced through warranty, but AUS BMW are sayign no as it is wear and tear. I have found some sellers on ebay, selling the stick on carbon fibe trims. Anyone tried these. Not sure they will look good with the grey interior |

It's not real aluminium though right? It's just plastic and the shiny silver coating has been scratched off?
Either vinyl wrap it or change it completely, either to a new aluminium look set, woodgrain or piano black like: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 |

buy my shadowline trim if you looking at the above window metal trim, should go well on your car.

I have used this parts company a lot and other members as well. http://www.bmminiparts.com/Search.aspx After you have the part do a bit of searching on the bmw parts online in the states to match your part number and get a price if it matches left hand drive cars.

Buy RHD parts from the UK not the US, as the US typically cannot get RHD bits so if they are different they don't fit!!
Generic parts are okay, it's just RHD specific ones. FYI I have some e90 Aluminum trim, $500 it's anyones (I upgraded to Piano Black ages ago so it's gathering dust under the house). Quote:
