Alternate jack points

Haven't found a post yet that deals with this on the E92. (If there has been one pls point me there, thanks) Other than the four jack points that are obvious and have the plastic housings where are the other jack points that one can use? Any pictures? Much appreciated.

bump - I want to know too! Presumably you would jack somewhere else, then put the jack stands in the manufacturer's jack points?

Does anyone know if there is a jack accessory available that mates the saddle of a hydraulic jack to the plastic thing where the factory jack would be used....if one were to buy the factory jack which is a screw type

TIA

George

Some additional info, if its helpful...not sure. The latest BIMMER magazine discussed jacking an E46....not sure it the E90/92/93 is similar:

Front: The front suspension carrier plate is the front location. They note its far from ideal, it is aluminum and will distort over time. They state the distortion will not effect its function

Rear: Again, there is a rear suspension carrier plate forward of the rear differential. They stress NEVER to jack on the rear differential or "pumpkin" for the old timers on these cars.

I've got an e-mail into thier Tech Q&A at techqa@bimmer-mag.com
