Why are you running such stretched tires with normal offsets?

EDIT: you can't run that rear tire size with the front you have listed anyway, it's 1.5% difference in rolling diameter...you want to stay below 1%

massbimmer: actually this is for a set of rims i want to buy... and these are the tires coming with the rims...... i'll probably have to replace the tires sooner or later anyway... so what tire size should i get so that it'll run normal... keep in mind i am not planning on lowering my car...

also... if the difference in rolling diameter is 1.5% what is the negative thing about this?

thanks for your help.

Those tires are too thin. Youll need like 245/35 front and 265/30 rear.

The general rule of thumb is to keep the difference in rolling diameter below 1% to avoid damaging the transfer case of your all-wheel drive system.

I think you'll be ok with 235/35/19 up front and 265/35/19 in back. If you're not lowered and are on standard xDrive suspension, you shouldn't have any rubbing issues

hey guys, thanks for all the replies... what if i want to leave the tires up front the way they are since they still have lots of tread but the rears i will change...... what can i change them to you ensure that the rolling diameter is less than 1%?

also is it highly probable that it will damage my transfer case on the XI?

the rears only have 40-50% tread left... so i dont really want to waste them either.

let me know guys.. thanks a lot again.

I'm pretty sure that spending $300 on new rear tires is a much better option than f'ing up the AWD system on your $50k vehicle just to save a few bucks.

There's a calculator in the wheels/tires section. You would want to pair a 255/30/19 tire with the 225/35/19 fronts.

Yes, these would be the correct sizes. These are actually the sizes that come from the factory w/ 19s
