I've raised a similar post in another thread. There is plenty of info out there showing how to replace/fit it, the hard part is finding the right one.

It's an ebay kit, so I'm hesitant. I'm wondering if other aussies can recommend any local suppliers, and/or, experience with international suppliers.

I potentially have a really stupid question.... so here goes.

If I have adaptive headlights, do I need to do this HID conversion?

Or is the link in my ebay link only for the "low beam". I'm confused.

Edit: I've found a thread discussing this;
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=436829
And this thread;

Cheers.

Firstup, OP are we assuming you're installing this for your low-beam driving lights? I am assuming you do not have projector headlights?

mthien - if you have adaptive headlights you've already got xenons!!! no point buying the craptastic ebay kit above when you have genuine projectors that will actually work well. what is it about your lighting that you want to upgrade

Just considering anything possible.

Looks like i'll only be changing to the lux Angel Eye lights as per the group buy thread.

Thanks bmroxm5 for clarifying.

Regards.

lol sounds like you are modifying for the sake of modifying but the result will be worse lighting than what you have!

you can always install HID foglights if you want

so this requires you to have headlight housings that were already prior-HID before this kit, and NOT base model non-HID model headlights (like mine)?

the fleabay kit is for those with base spec halogen reflector headlights that want to change to a HID globe. It doesn't have any REAL advantages over stock and it'll most likely be glary and be annoying to oncoming drivers.
