Suspension Help!!

Just put H&R coils on my car and I'm hearing a loud clunk for both front struts...also im only sitting at 25in in the rear and we took the helpers out. just seems to be sitting kind of high in the rear still after an alignment and a week of settling. any suggestions?

That shouldn't be something you have to live with. Check to make sure everything has been tightened. Start with sway bar links.

are you sure you put the rear adjusts in properly? do you have pics?

did you drop the car really low? you may have unloaded the spring tension and thats what can be causing your clunking, either that or check to make sure you tightened the top nut holding the strut hat on tightly, any slack will result in a clunk sound. sway bar end links being loose can cause it too

I did drop both front and rear coils all the way down. it only clunks at low speeds turning either direction. The person who put them in said he thinks the strut bearings may have went bad. Im pretty much a newb when it comes to some tearms. i can put up some pics this weekend.

Fix binding by Making coil spring silencers, they work awesome if its really just coil binding! I used my buddys cheapie car just as an example but have it implimented on kwv2's on my 2006 e90 sedan.

You will need to figure out where the binding is happening and place your silencer in those places. You could get the tube at any hardware store for 49 cents a foot!
