et 25 - too aggressive for e92?

I was planning on picking up a set of VMR's today, BUT the front 8.5" wheel with 35 offset will not clear my FK Silverline coilovers from what I hear.

I will need a 3mm to 5mm spacer... I only have a 10mm spacer on me and I wanted to go pickup and tryout the set today... I was wondering will this be too aggressive up front with et 25 after a 10 mm spacer?

Falken tires 235/35/19 up front, lowered on FK coilovers, not SLAMMED but about 0.5-1.5 finger gap probably.

you'll be a 3mm spacer up front and you'll be fine... it's the helper spring on the fk's that cause the issue!!

Hey Craig, ask Eric to get back to me soon, maybe I won't need to buy the VMR's today if he can setup the Miros! hahaha... I'll just get the 3mm spacer from you guys too then.

I was going to pickup a used VMR set to get me by until your Miro's come in so I can get off my winter tires for now, but I don't have access to spacers locally and it will take at least a week to order some in... I don't want to wait around a week with a set of used wheels without trying them out for problems.

Just bought and installed oem M3 wheels on my e92 and mine fit just fine with 245 40 18 on 18x8.5et18 in the front. Pm me if you want a pic of the fitment. Also, I believe this setup netted me an additional 10mm of clearance from the strut assembly.

8.5 +25 with a 235 FK452 might be able to be pulled off. Its 5mm less aggressive then a 9.5 +33 with a 235 we've tested. In your case, the 235 does not give off any stretch on a 8.5" wheel which may cause a slight problem during compression. You will not know until this actually gets mounted and driven on.

OP, I'm currently running the following up front on my car (e92):

8.5 et 35 +12mm spacer/Hankook V12's 235/35/H&R Sports

No rubbing during regular driving, only when the wheel is fully cranked

You'll be fine
