Post Dynavin Unit

Hi All,

New to this forum and first to ever register for one. I'm at a lost and need some guidance. I have a 2009 335d and I purchased the dynavin navigation unit. I am looking for a constant 12 volt source in my fuse box to power the unit. I've gone through all of the empty fuse slots and all seem to be 12 volt switched source. Can someone help me out here. I've attached a picture of my fuse box. Also, if someone has installed the Dynavin unit and got the steering wheel buttons to work, can you please explain to me how you did that. The CANBUS unit has the 3.5mm plug, but where does that connect to if you remove the head unit, which would make sense because I'm replacing it with the dynavin unit. Am I missing something here. Thanks all!

I had a lot of trouble finding constand 12v. I tried moving to different locations for days without success. I think I finally found it in the area circled I circled in red. Have you tried there yet?

i was a little puzzled by that 3.5mm too. i plugged it into the IR 3.5mm jack coming out of the head unit (one of the cables), not the mic jack on the back of the unit.

hope that power spot works, i have the same prob and same fuze panel. i'm going to try mine now.

did you get a backup camera?
