NITTO NT555Rs

I am looking into my next set of track tires. I love my ADVAN AD08s, but I think it would be fun to just try out the different tires available. I wanted to explore a slightly bigger tire. The only bigger tire that I can find (from my 285/40/18 Yokos) is the NITTO NT555R in 315/40-18. I do believe I have enough clearance in the back and my offset is high enough i wouldn't have to worry about the shock (to my knowledge). If any of you have experience with this tire I would greatly appreciate the feedback!

Those are DOT drag tires if you are the quarter mile they are great. Are you going to do course tracks? I would suggest Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs or Nitto NT05s.

Will you be on a road course or will you be using it for drag?

Ah, I was thinking just for road course. So those are mainly drag radials?

Yup those are drag radials. If you want DOT R comps Nitto NT-01, Kumho Victoracers V710. For a dual purpose street track tire Nitto NT-05, Hankook RS3, Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs, and of course the Advan Neova AD-08.

Thanks for the email today Kevin, lol. BTW, here much about the pilot cup sports? I think I might try those out next.
