Tire nightmare

I went to a local auto store and had them mount and balance my tires.
An hour or so later, they finished my car and brought it out.

I knew it was a good idea to check the tires sizes and of course, they mounted the 255/35/18 in the front and 225/40/18 in the rear.
So I made them swap the 255 from the front to the rear.

What I'm worried about now is if they mounted my 225 and 255 on the correct wheel size...

My stock wheels are the Sport package OEM style 189 wheels, 18x8 up front and 18x8.5 in the rear. I have a feeling that they mounted the 225 on the 8.5" and 255 on the 8". Possibly all mismatched.

Are there any adverse effects if i drive around for a little like this?

Doubt it, 255 would look really wrong on a 8 inch wheel, same with 225 on 8.5, you would be able to tell. Pull the wheel off and read the inside, should be stamped.

Just stick a tape measure between the spokes to get and idea of the rim width.Otherwise as suggested you can take the wheel off and have a look.
