I've got 275's out back and I believe that's all you can get without rolling.

Thanks for your input..

I've been getting mixed responses from Rim shops..

Some say we have done 305's and 295s with no rolling...

So say dont go past 285..

Need someone to Verify please!

I have 275's and there's not much room left down there. I think 285's are doable, but do it at your own risk.

You MIGHT be able to do larger but you would have to have a very high offset or probably >43 or so. I test fitted 275/30/19 today and there was only about 1 fingerbreadth between tire and fender at 38 offset.

Also with a 19" wheel you have 19*25.4mm/inch = 482.6mm just with wheel alone. With 20" wheel it is 508mm. Add the width of the tire to these to get total height. If you run 285/25 that means .25 * 285mm = 71.25mm additional. With a 508mm wheel (20") thats 579.25mm TOTAL. With my test fit today of 275/30 on 19 inch rim I had .30 * 275mm = 82.5 mm added to the 482.6 mm wheel (19") = 565.1mm TOTAL. With that I only had one fingerbreadth room. My finger is definitely NOT 14.15mm thick (which is the difference in TOTALS above). That would be an additional .56 inches tall!! Seems very hard to stuff all that underneath unless you use HUGE offset.

Your best bet is to go to the wheel/tire shop and have them test fit a wheel with the tires you want....but I dont think you can stuff that under the fender.

You forgot one tire side doing those calculations, so the difference is less actually.

19" - 82.5 + 82.5 + 482.6 = 647.6
20" - 71.25 + 71.25 + 508 = 650.5

You are 100% on the money. I have just a smidge over 1 finger room with this setup. That's all you need for no rubbing or drama.

it all depends on the width and offset of your wheel. tire width doesnt mean much without the other info.

As I understand it you do not add the other side....Otherwise you would be adding .6 * the width or .7 * width for a 295/30 or 295/35 respectively. Go measure your tires height on your car and you will see I am correct. I have done so,...

What

I'm talking about the overall diameter of a wheel with tire, of course you have to add the tire sidewall height twice.

You do know that the diameter of a 19" wheels are more than 19" when you measure it, it's probably 20" to 20.5" in diameter. It's the opening in the tire that's 19" so natural the wheel is a little bigger.
