Will these Rims fit my 07 328i E90 Sedan??
VMR 19x8.5” Front ET 40 – Kumho SPT 245/35/19 VMR 19x9.5” Rear ET45 – Kumho SPT 275/30/19 They were on a E60 Five Series of my buddies. Will they work on my e90 WITHOUT rolling the fenders?? What spacers will I need if any? Please someone help! This is what the rims look like... But sense these rims were made for the 5 series i'm afraid they might not fit bc of the offset... http://www.velocitymotoring.com/link...Silver_336.php RIGHT NOW I HAVE THESE UGLY 16's (type 156) http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=464 Last edited by collegeguy60; 04-27-2011 at 02:54 AM.. |

The tire sizes are a bit aggressive for the car and may cause some rubbing issues. The ideal setup for your car for the VMR VB3 is the 19x8.5 ET40 with a 235/35/19 up front and the 19x9.5 ET33 with a 265/30/19 in the rear. You can still get your friends setup to work properly if you get the correct tire sizes. Also, you will need to run at least a 10mm spacer in the rear for a proper fit.

What year 5-Series was this on? From the offsets, it sounds to be an E60Xi to run those high offsets. Unless the owner was running large spacers. I would double check to confirm the proper offset and center bore of the wheels before purchasing.

Et 40 in the front will do fine but et45 in the back will be tucked in like crazy. Those 19s are heavy too, ideal set up would be 18s 40 in front and 30 in back.

No way those were on an E60...offsets are way too conservative.
They will fit fine on your E90...you could probably run a 10 mm spacer in the rear to get it more flush |

THANKS EVERYONE... I BOUGHT THEM AND THE FIT PERFECT WITHOUT SPACERS.
Might go ahead and throw some spacers on to make it look more aggressive.. How much you think I should do? Let me show some pics of them on my car.. it really turned my car around and made it look good! As of right now theres no way to make it rub, I have been putting it through the test. Never heard any rubs btw.. with 80% tread tires/tmps/bmw caps. I thought it was a hell of a deal. Heres some pics, as i just put them on and washed it up! Very nice! I have the same car (E90 Ti Silver with the same OEM 16" wheels) and am indecisive on what wheels to get, but those look great on your car and are a huge improvement over the original wheels!

Thanks. I love the look and got a ton of compliments on them already. I was thinking about getting them sandblasted and changed to a gunmetal finish. Will keep them like this for a while though!
Thx everyone for the help and compliments! |
