if you're going with 19", then 313 no doubt. i have them on my 335is and they look amazing. i wasn't too impressed with them in 18" so if you're going with 18" i'd go with the 230.

they both look hot, i wonder how the 230 look with an mtech front bumper , the bumper makes the 313's look a little bit better in my opinion

I just went from 230 (used for winter now) to the Performance 313s

Pro 230:

Easy to clean
Classy look
Not too aggressive

Pro 313:

Wayyyyy more aggressive
A bit more lightweight
Polished finish is sickkkk
Show off the brakes a lot lore, which may be bad with stock brakes
Awesomeness on black cars

if he gets 359 or the highly resembling 163 (BEST RIM STYLES FOR A BMW), he would end up doing some adjustments (fender rolling, spacers, etc but not necessarily all of them). I LOVE the 313s but the price is too much (at least for me since i dont work yet). Basically, the 313s are the superior choice.

And yes, I agree that the 313s may seem a bit awkward with stock brakes but I don't think it will be THAT BAD. However, if you want perfection consider the cost for the brakes.
