All,

I need an audio answer.. my '11 e92 is scheduled to be delivered 6/27/11 at Welt. I ordered base audio as I couldn't get HK without ordering the BS $2500 premium package, so rather than give BMW the pleasure, I went with base and am planning to upgrade. My question is - what sound system is my car going to come with? I had seen somewhere on the forums that post-09/10 base system is now HiFi. Is that correct? I'm planning on upgrading with a JL XD600/6, technic harness, and SWS-8s if that is the case.. just want to make sure. Advice is appreciated!

Nice, so I would get tweeters and my upgrade would work out nicely.. sure hope this is the case. I had HiFi (8 speaker) in my last e92 and it sounded fine even with stock amp.
