330i speaker problem!

My sister took my car one night and blasted the speakers beyond the limit and I think it blew the speakers. If I play certain types of songs with high bass it makes a scratchy/popping noise. Idk what it is can someone help me out? I want to fix it but how much?

Is there any thing on top of the subs, under the seats?

Maybe a rock or something fell in there....

Sounds like you have a blown speaker. Try to use identify which speaker is making the noise. If the noise occurs during heavy bass notes, it is probably one of the woofers under the seats.

2006 means the warrany is expired, so dealer will charge you an arm and a leg
do you have logic 7?
or regular HIFI?
you can usually find the speakers on ebay

06 330 = Logic 7

Check if something is lying on top of sub-woofer grills under front seats (I had that once before.) Door panels are easy to remove, avoid the dealer if you can, DIY in that sub-forum. Replacement speakers from Ebay or forum WTB. Aftermarket from BSM.

The speaker on BOTH the front doors are making the scratchy noise..maybe the center speaker as well. It's the small triangle shaped speaker... What are my options?

The center speakers are known to blow. BSW has an upgrade for it, a stronger speaker that can take more abuse than the factory.

You may want to disconnect your center speaker, easy to do (see the install doc for the BSW), and see if the scratchiness goes away. If it continues, call BSW and see what they suggest.
