Do our cars come pre-wired for an OEM alarm
Hi guys
Hope your weekend is going well so far... I notice on the USA forum threads that there is a lot of mention that their vehicles come pre-wired for the standard OEM alarm and all you have to do is install the sensor in the passenger compartment and the alarm unit under the front wheel well (along with a switch in the engine bay). I presume us poor Aussies don't have this standard spec as we don't have the red clown nose on the revision mirror and I can't seem to easily identify any wiring for the bonnet switch in the engine bay?? Does anyone know for sure what we get on a 2010/2011 model e90...other than "jack" and "s*it" Appreciate your guidance... |

our cars are the same spec as UK cars, bar some minor adjustments. The car is pre-wired for the alarm, but you will need to install it and then take it to a dealer to get it coded. Or a good indy with the right programming software.

So do we not need the red clown nose on the revison mirror or is that somehting you have to retrofit if you want a red blinking thingo in the car? Thanks again for your guidance. |
