which gear do you put before get into highway?

I always used DS mode to get into highway, but I guess there should be better way to enjoy using manual mode.

Which gear do you guys operate? 4th to 3rd? or even 2nd?

How much rpm do you normally reach?

Thank you guys.

I don't go to track. So my only fun time is there to highway. On purpose, I slow down to 30 km/h and push to 120km/h without any hesitation, which mean the faster funnier, the better. manual mode should be more exciting than ds mode.

It depends, really.

If you want the most out of each gear, shift before redline. If you want some thrills but want to make your tranny last, somewhere between 4/5k.

I honestly think it's a waste to floor it on an expressway, since you'll end up slowing down because the soccer mom w/ an Odyessy will probably be clogging up the left lane

That, or you see a glinting light out of the corner of your right eye and see that it's the glimmer of a squad car's lights

shifting at redline isn't shortening the life of your transmission.

If the on ramp is a nice hairpin turn, I am in 2nd gunning though it. Exit the ramp at usually 45-50mph with a shift to 3rd shortly after that.
