335xi manual clutch options

Hey guys I have a 2007 335xi. I recently installed a Cobb AP and LOVE the added power! Unfortunately my clutch doesn't love it as much as I do. I slips pretty bad under acceleration when the boost builds.

What clutch options do us 335xi owners have? I asked ALan at **********s and he Said ACT doesn't have an option. Any input?

I have done some research and looks like the Spec Stage 3+ is the way to go it has near stock characteristics and it will handle over 650+fl lbs coming from the spec guy because I am in the same situation as you. I went from stock to jb4 fmic full exhaust and cai. I am starting to save for the spec stage 3+. I had one of these on my trans am ws6 with heads cam gear and exhaust and loved it. That is my route!

Like I said I had one in my trans am and it was a stage 3+ and it has stock drive ability characteristics. I spoke to the boys over at spec and they said very very similar to stock!

If a clutch says it fits a 335i, it will fit an XI, ACT took a look at mine to make sure it would fit...

I had a ACT organic, and went through it in about 25K (But I didn't remove the CDV which I heard can wear aftermarket clutches), they recommended I use a 6 puck disc because of my power output and because I'm all wheel. The ACT organic was great while it lasted, pedal pressure was greater but I actually liked it alot better.

I am currently running the 6 puck with the DMF, first gear it brutal, but every other gear feels great, just trying to get the hang of the beast in first gear.
