2008 E63 - Panic button

Hi Guys,

I understand for cars in the US that the panic button is set off by holding the trunk button down for a few secs.

Can anyone confirm whether this is while the car is locked or unlocked?

Thanks,

Got this working on my UK e63 - To enable Panic button on remote, two things need to be changed:

1) Module: CANS
PANIK_ALARM
nicht_aktiv to aktiv

2) Module: CAS
SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM
nicht_aktiv to panikalarm

Equally, the above can be reversed to disable for those that find it annoying when wanting to unlock the trunk and the alarm goes off - difference of holding the button for 2 secs (trunk) versus 3 secs or more (panic alarm).

Does it when locked or unlocked I'm pretty sure.
