Exhaust Tip Dimensions, Stock Tips? 1m

Would anyone happen to know the dimension of the 1M's stock exhaust tips? 12 X 6 X 6 by chance?!?

I haven't measured mine but I emailed Tischer about the M3 Edition tips to see if they were the same size.

Very cool man, appreciate the help. I really would like to put these on my car even if they are a tad bit longer than what we have stock. So even if they are not the same exact size, would they fit? I guess this relies on the diameter of the tip and being okay with it sticking out a little further... thanks again!

Lol, great minds think alike :-)
I'm away from home for a class but if I can find a set of calipers or even a ruler I'll run out and take a quick look

diameter: 6mm(1M) 6mm(M3)

length: 11mm(1M) 12mm(M3)

I think this added extra length will look perfect! I have felt since day one, that from a side view, our pipes look a little short and awkward. Based on the dimensions(diameter) of our stock tip vs. ///M3 frozen black edition tips this should work then no? So pumped!

I have seen these advertised for 135i's as well. I assume BMW does all the rivets in the same fashion, I have my fingers crossed, I will order pipes tomorrow and hopefully have on by the end of next week. Will post pics of result if there is one. Will keep posted.

Ordered! Should expect by Tuesday, Wednesday of next week. The install will take place shortly after. I will let everyone know how it goes and post some pics. I wanted to thank Andy over at Turner Motorsport for helping me and getting those out today!

yes, I apologize. My ruler is a bit odd. I knew something was weird about the labeling. CM is no where on it. But yes I do mean cm.

Looks great and let us know how this goes. For not just thinking of slapping my MadDad midpipe off my 135i and doing these tips as a quick exhaust mod (till I decide if I can stomach the Akra price LOL).

I have tips in my possession. They look fantastic and shouldn't have expected anything less from BMW Group. The quality is outstanding. My car is finally in the shop getting the front bumper worked on, but following the completion of that I will have these installed ASAP. Trust me, the wait is killing even me...

Great find they should look great on 1M. Not sure if the rear diffuser would look good against them, can't understand why they painted it in grey really.

You have no idea what I am going through, A motorcycle hit my car two weeks ago while staying the weekend in St. Augustine, FL. Parts are not readily available for our cars and I am suffering for it on top of the heartache... I have not had it for two weeks already and it has barely been worked on! I am crushed but promise as soon as I get my car back, I have plans do get these tips on and change my theme a little bit as far as grills, side indicators and wheels...

Thank you that is very much appreciated. It is always happens to the ones who care SOOO much about their cars. It was not too bad as far as damage goes, but bad enough to not be driven due to dragging skid plates and such. I had to leave my car 4 hours North of where I live. I am trying to see what can be done to get parts, it is all I am waiting on and that upsets me. They said some parts may take until December! I am thinking everyday since, "What did I do to deserve this?" A very close friend of mine(my mother ) sent me this via email: "I don't always get to know why things happen.

I may spend hours, even days, trying to figure out why bad things have happened to me. I may get caught up in trying to understand other people, situations, and even my own thoughts.

Today I will accept that I don't have to know why things are the way they are. Instead I can pay attention to healing, growing, and learning."

Even with such wise words the fact, I am apart from my car, and the only things holding back the completion are the lack of parts from BMW really twists me nuts...

Does anybody have past experience with this? Should I try calling BMW-Germany just to explain my situation and hope they have a helpful solution for me (aha wishful and hopeful thinking!!!) Any insight on this helps guys!
