Staggered Setup on 550xi

Is it possible to put a staggered setup on a 2012 550xi?

Yes. But you will have to buy wider rear rims to fit the wider tires ...

factory F & R is 19 * 8.5 et 33 - tire 245/40/19

For staggered - rear is 19 * 9 et 44 - tire 275/35/19

For 20 staggered -recommended size - F 20 * 8.5 et 33 - tire 245/35/20; R 20 * 9 et 44 - tire 275/30/20

For 21 staggered aggressive setup - F 21 * 9 et 35 - 38 - tire 255/30/21; R 21 * 10.5 et 40 - 45 - tire 295/25/21

Staggered setup has no affect on the XDrive?

Technically, No.

However, depending on how sensitive the onboard computer is, there is a chance it may triggered error messages. For North America setup, BMW calibrates the wheel rotation to a sqaure setup but for Europe, BMW calibrates the wheel rotation to a staggered setup. Therefore, nobody knows what the computer will do once it defects rotational rotation variance. Cross your finger !

Fitment ?

I was wondering if these would fit my 2011 535xi M package;

Rims: Fronts 20X8.5 +35mm Offset
Tires: 245-35-20

Rims: Rears 20X10 +40mm Offset
Tires: 275-30-20

Thanks.

^ Good fit

For the rear, since you are getting 10" wide, you can even go to 285/30/20

Are they VMR wheels ?

Thanks for the reply. Nope they are Foose rims with continental DWS tires. Will post pics when the car's delivered end of the week.
