Handling feel with coils or springs

I am looking for a new daily to add to my Turbo S and really like the 550i x drive with m tech. The X will work nicely for the winter and I have always loved BMW driving feel. I drove one and was pretty underwhelmed with the handling and steering even in sport mode. In fact it felt like no BMW I have ever driven (owned 3 m3s and 1 335). Obviously its a bigger car but to me the old 5 had more BMW feel. I want to know for those who have done springs or coils how does it change the feel? I drove an X5M right after and I honestly felt it handled better. I will do suspension and wheels/tires on most anything I buy so I just want to know how much it changes the feel. Thanks

Mine is not a 535xi but have have had both h&r springs and kw v3 coilovers with the edc fix.

Hands down the springs with the dynamic dampers do not compare to the kw v3. My friends who own a m3s and m5s say my f10 now feels like a proper BMW

Bump - also interested in reading more about this topic.

Looking at ACS and H&R springs for my F10 535i, Sport but no Dynamic Damper Control or Active Roll Stabilization.

I read on these boards, H&R sit lower so that'd be my preference. But do they also perform better?

For coilovers, everyone says to KW V3.

I really like the ACS springs, firm without being harsh. These are not the lowest. I was looking for a firmer than stock spring rate first, the factory springs are way too soft for my taste, the drop was secondary.

Vinfast had the H&R, switched to Racing Dynamics and I believe is looking for ACS - he may be the first to have tested all three
