Rear Rim on Front?
I have a 328i with the style 197 rims. Would it cause a problem if I use a front rim in the rear temporarily?
Fronts are: 8x18 225/40-18 Rears: 8.5x18 255/35-18 |

Depends on what you mean by temporarily. 50-100 miles to get yourself home or to a service station? Sure, shouldn't be a problem if you drive slowly and carefully and don't have to make any emergency lane changes or swerves. For a few weeks while you wait until it is convenient for you to fix the situation and drive like you normally would? Not a good idea in that case.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I was thinking about using it for a week or two until I can find another rear rim. I guess I'll skip that idea. Thanks for the help, I appreciate your time.
