That wheel there is a replica wheel. There are a few different styles out there for M6 wheels, so there's a lot of confusion. I'll send you a PM on more info on them real quick.

real will likely be stamped vmw inside... and real has much lower offsets

This will not work on a 3 series as a direct bolt on fitment as the offsets are too aggressive. The picture that you posted above is of a replica M6 wheel. It definitely isn't the best replica either. As you probably can tell, the space in between the spokes are quite wide to the point where you can most likely stick your entire finger through them.

I'm glad you found the information helpful. Yes, the setup that you've mentioned will work, but it's not the optimal setup as it's a bit conservative for the E9X 3 series. The setup that you've listed is more geared towards the E46 3 series fitment. Typically what is recommended is the 19x8.5 ET35 up front and the 19x9.5 ET33 in the rear for the 3 series. The setup that you've mentioned will be sunken in and in my opinion will not look proper on the car.

Run a 5mm spacer up front and a 10mm in the rear.

What's up? I actaully fit authentic m6 wheels on my 06 330i. I'm running stretches tires though. 225/35/19 and 265/30/19. Very agressive fitment. Running them without spacers as well.

Yes, it's definitely possible to fit low offset wheels on the car. It will be aggressive and will require you to run a stretched tire and most likely will require you to modify/roll your fenders. The later would be a requirement if you're car is lowered.

Not a chance in hell those are OEM. The space between the spokes is simply waaaay too wide.
