Rim scratch repair some pics

A small scratch on the rear rim, but made it through the clear coat.
Only sanded down the dirty clearcoat, did not sand through to metal. Recoat with clearcoat, re-sand and finish. You can see the damaged metal part through the smooth clearcoat. (Metal cannot be fixed unless re-machined totally, on machine face finish. Most rims are painted so would be different from this)

You made a lot of effort grimmy. Not perfect but really admire your enthusiasm. Keep it up bro.

May I know what kind of clear coat you used?

Yeah, i just wanted to try to see if it can be done.. i think the shop is much better option for cost and time. Do once and maybe never again ..
scratch doctor body paint match was too dark for me, paintscratch .com was good match..
these small repairs are totally not worth the time .. just fun to try to see if u can do it

Yeah this one sound quite dangerous .. have to careful the coiled up spring. Will take time as usual..

Besides KW, there is also Bilstein shock for f10 .. it says paired with eibach, dun know how it would be like paired with HR, but another alternative, cost 9-10k..
I start to think improve the shock will improve the just springs, coilover advantage is both are paired/tested to work well together.. so if u match yourself trial and error /luck..

http://www.aze-tuning.de/gutachten/E10-20-022-01-22.pdf

Difference between eibach 523/8 and 550,
is 13.25 vs 13.5 mm wire diameter and length 318 vs 334mm length (front), same width for back 12.5mm, length 327 vs 332.
So 16mm longer (untensioned) and 0.25mm thicker on front, on back 5mm longer.
Hopefully this will result in higher ride height by at least 13mm (tensioned), as well as less dip under additional weight (cornering)
Calculated drop from OE is 17mm F, 26mm R
= slightly more than 'M' drop on front, nearly eibach drop on rear

Bilstein is quite hard core. Don't want to be a guinea pig. May be you can try first grimmy. You are always the pioneer.

Bilstein is no good for road use so don't bother testing them wast of time and money.

So I measured the ground-to-fender height twice, with min. gas and with full gas:

low: FR FL RR RL
71.5 72.1 71.5 71.7
full
71.7 72.2 70.8 71.3

So 60L gas (=60kg) decreases rake (front-back bias) by raising front ~1.5mm and lowering back ~5.5mm

Can't help to think car is set up perfectly for LHD (for only driver).. too bad ours is RHD

Will need to measure the springs when removed from car, to see if the difference comes from there. If so, the problem is known, if not, will have to consider 5mm-10mm pads.. will need to research which materials best.

Eibach Springs L/R are deviating by 2mm untensioned (may be different under tension)

Final goal is L/R level with no driver, or up to +5mm raised in FR(driver)
