This may have been asked before, but what you use to clean the wood trim on your F10's? please advice.

Thanks

Only a damp microfiber and then pat dry with another one. It still gets microscratches ;-)

Well, one could use elephant fat if they wish, but all the wood elements are lacquered with a heavy layer of clear coat. ;-)

it's covered in lacquer so a wood cleaner isn't needed. A general all purpose cleaner meant for auto interiors is fine like Meguiars or Mother's and soft MF towles with light pressure.
If you are real anal you can use Plexus which is meant for clear plastic. I use it for the Nav Screen,Tint, Instrument cluster,Headlight, taillights, side indicator and clear bra. but it's 20 bucks a can.

The configurator specifies it as 'wood', as opposed to 'wood-effect', so to avoid product description litigation issues, it probably is genuine. However, under all that clear lacquer, it's hard to tell.

Used to use Plexus on my motocycle plastics. Great product...a little expensive, but a can goes a long way. Thanks for the reminder, I'm going to pick up a can.

It's real wood (I sell hardwood for a living). That being said, it's just a veneer...and like several people said, it's covered by a realatively thick clear finish. I just use a damp rag and dry any streaking with a dry rag (microfiber is strongly recommended).

Plexus is quite unique. I haven't found a plastic cleaner that works as effectively. The two main qualities that differentiate the product are, electrostatic properties and leaves no residue.

Thanks much, you are correct about Plexus, that is what I use on my F800ST BMW motorcycle wind screen with excellent results... I will use the same on the wood trim on my F10.
