Driving with a different tread pattern for one tire
I posted this in the xi section but will probably get a faster response here.
Wanted to know opinions on running with 3 matching tires and one tire with different tread. It would be the front right. Sizes are the same. Would be running on it for about 3 weeks. |

mine is not xi, but friends with subbies did it all the time. Those shops always play by the book to save their asses. They dont even mess with cars with spacers on.

Feel like subbies could tolerate more than a BMW. Regardless it's been 6 months now trying to put them on. I'm just going to buy a jack and do it at home.

If you are going from point a to point b with no excessive changes in weather conditions, you'll be fine.

Going to sell some stuff on Craigslist and get a new tire earlier so they all match. Car starts to shake at 75mph+ bad and below that it's fine, don't feel anything. Wonder if it's due to the mismatched treads up front.
