Mixing different load indexed tires?

Ok, So I noticed a gash in the sidewall of my front tire last week, which luckily will be covered under road hazard. I went ahead and ordered a replacement so I could send in the old one. I'm running Continental ExtremeContact DW's on a 335xi, so I originally put on the XL rated variant. Well, I accidentally ordered the lighter rated version and waited all week for it to show up today only to discover my mistake. Also, I'm already set to have it mounted first thing Saturday morning. Its my understanding that this basically affects the stiffness of the sidewall, which helps support the extra weight during heavy cornering. Will I notice a lot of extra outer tire wear if I go ahead and mount it? I do a couple track days a year and a handful of auto-x events too.

I'd be out probably another $60 because of shipping if I decide to trade it. ($20 each way for the wrong one, another $20 for new)
