Help on wheels fitment FOR xi e90

Hello everyone, apologies if this question had been asked before. I have a 2008 pre-lci 335xi 4dr sedan (non sport, completely stock)

I am looking to buy a set of wheels from a fellow forum member and here are the specs:

Front 19x8.5 ET43
Rear 19x9.5 ET 21.5

Is the offset too aggressive in the rear?

what do i need to do to make them fit? i.e. Rolling the rear fenders?

I am relatively new to the World of BMW and any advice would be really appreciated

Thanks very much!!!!

Too aggressive but will work because A. Your stock and B. Your an XI ( sits higher). If your dropped these will rub and way to aggressive without fender rolling. Im on 19x10.5 offset 20 and fenders rolled and slammed and i rub. BTW you can run that offset in the front but its going to stick in a lot. Run a 15mm spacer and youll be fine. 34-37mm offsets are stock i would stay in the range of 25-35mm range.

Thanks for your advice, I suppose that's what I should be looking for in terms of offset 25 - 35mm range.

My goal is to find a set that fits easy with no rubbing/fender rolling so I will have no worry when I drop on a KW V1 next spring.

Thanks

ya, that's what I am trying to avoid. I have gone through these -3 camber and fender rollings and flush look with my previous car (EVO X). Right now just wanna enjoy the refinement and comfortable ride of a bimmer.

So my goal is probably to find a set that looks nice and not having to do any additional work (adding spacers are fine). and put on a set of V1 and I am all set.

But thanks very much for your advice again.

At least now I know what wheel offset I am looking for and trying to avoid.

Thanks

Wrong answer!

I am running 9.5 wide in the rear with 265/30/19 on H&R Sports with rolled fenders and still rub when I hit a major dip in the road.

If you dont roll, and you lower the car, you are going to rub... no doubt about it.

Then you're doing it wrong. Run a 255 and/or camber and it won't rub.
I'm lowered on 11" et32 (7mm out more than 9.5" et20) and do not rub.

Will I rub with 265 tires in the rear with stock suspension (non sport), no rolled fenders and no neg camber?

Would it help if I do 235 front 255 rear to avoid rubbing?

Point is, not everyone will adjust camber and run stretched tires to make it fit.

Thanks for everyone's input!!! I think running 255 tires on 9.5 wheels are not too stretched? I even saw on the AC Schnitzer website that's the recommended tire sizing for E90.

Again, thanks guys for your input, I have made up my mind to get these wheels. Eventually if I drop my car, I will probably be doing coilovers with camber plate and run neg -2 camber and that should be fine.

Cheers

Yes, e90post has just adopted habits of being overly conservative, and everyone just regurgitates the same old info.
