that set up is a generic flush set up. in other words with spacers you might have some rubbing issues due to the meaty tire set up you have. Also if you plan on going lower youll probably have some rubbing. if you want the wheels to stick out a bit more youll have to roll your fenders to minimize your rubbing.

yeah on your tire setup id say your as flush as your going to be without crazy rubbing, if you want to get into specific mm's as far as spacers id do something real small, as in 5mm. 10mm wouldnt be horrible but you would have some rubbing, if you really want to do spacers 5mm wouldnt hurt all that much but youd still have some rubbing. Honestly for the setup as a daily (and if you dont want any rubbing) keep it as is, or throw some 5mms on and roll your rears.
IMO

Whether you should get spacers is a personal preferance and depends on how agressive you want your fitment/stance and if necessary are prepared to roll fenders to get that agressive fitment.
That said, if you want a more flush look without being super agressive, based on everything that I've read you could get away with a more agressive offset up front. Although I have an e90 LCI I believe our front tracks are the same. I am running the same size tire up front on a 19" 8.5" wheel et 35 lowered on Eibach's. and I am going to add a 5mm spacer, because after I lowered my car my wheel appears considerably more tucked and after measuring I have the room. I don't think I can go more agressive than that without rubbing issue. I am running a 9.5" et35 on a 265/30 tire in the back but the LCI has a wider track than the pre lci, I am pretty tight back there, but I might be able to get way with a 2mm spacer without needing to roll. That said, I am generally pretty pleased with the rear fitment it's just the overhang in the front that bothers me, which I am hoping to cure with a 5mm spacer. Keep in mind you are running a smaller diameter wheel so I think you can be slightly more agressive than some of us guys running 19's. Last edited by cssnms; 10-26-2011 at 10:02 AM.. |

The car looks pretty good as is!
We designed that fitment so that it would work without any rubbing issues at stock height with about as wide of a tire as you could get on them. If you wanted to space the wheels out I can't guarantee rub free fitment with those tire sizes and no fender work. As always though, the size of the spacer you should get is totally dependent on your needs and wants. The best way to see how large you may be able to use is to measure the gap.
