My 330i badge
So it was recently brought to my attention by a forum member that my badge it way off from the std. Fail.
Now it\'s still a cpo, should I ask the dealer to fix it... Or Should I do it myself which I would screw it up so maybe someone could help me to purchase and debadge and rebadge.. went to the dealer and: 1st:befoe 2nd:after no marks came put good!

Personally I'd debadge it. I guess if the dealer is close you can ask them to do it and say something like "I'd do it myself, but I don't want to damage it and create MORE warranty work for you". I'm sure they wouldn't mind using the correct adhesive and sticking some numbers and letters on for you.

I debadged mine at 69k miles because the previous owner left it there. After a week or 2 you couldn't see any difference in the paint color or anything. At first I was worried that it would be much lighter paint than the rest of the trunk because it would be the only spot that hasn't faded. Not a problem at all.
Debadge or just find out what adhesive they use and do it yourself IMO. |

Thanks for the advice mah dudes,
I talked to the dealer and they said they will do it all I had to do was buy a new badging which was like 20 so whatever. Andd I don't think I could actually leave it debaged... It's like losing its name haha at least that's what I think! I very much into leaving the car stock OCD<3 And I was thinking that the color may be different I really hope not....=\

The color should be the same. I have OCD and I find it cleaner without the numbers on the right. Symmetry! |

If the color is off even just a little have the dealer hit the trunk with a buffer... that or if you are doing it yourself, use some "cleaner wax" and some elbow grease... rotary buffer will get her done much better btw.
