Winter tire set up on 335d

So, we had our first snow last night and I am obviously late. I drive AW E90 335d with Sports Package.

So, what do the current diesel drivers have as their winter set up? I might just get tires for the winter on the stock 18" rims.

Thanks

If you go with tires on your stock wheels, most minus size to 225/40R18 on all four wheels.

Winter tires

I got a set of 18" Blizzak 225 front and 255 rear to keep the factory look. They worked great! I know a square set up using 225's is preferred but I like the staggered look all year long. If possible stay away from used tires that are 3 seasons old. It is a worth while investment if it's your daily driver. I purchased a 19" set of Alufelgen rims with Michelin Super Sport tires (235/265) for my Summer set up.
Good luck.

Recently purchased some Rial 17" blizzak non rft for my 335d. I haven't had my first winter yet with them, however I wanted to go with 17s due to the pot holes. My thought is that the 18s would be more prone to potholes that are prevalent throughout the winter months.

Thanks All.

I am tight on money so I think I will just replace the tires for the winter and get a set of summer wheels.

Gary, I am leaning towards Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 225/45R18 tires. I see on the website that you guys have in stock, can you please confirm? Also, are there any special promotions on any winter tires or packages that you know of?

Thanks again.

Also, do you recommend 225/40R18 or 225/45R18 for winter driving and maximum handling in snow and ice?

Thanks
