Advice on Winter Wheel/tire Purchase

Looking for advice on winter wheel/tire purchase. Would appreciate your opinion.

My choices are:
16" NEW BMW style 156 wheel w/Dunlop RFT and TPMS $1696 from BMW dealer
or
16" NEW F10 wheel w/ Blizzak LM25, TPMS and BMW center caps $1375 from Tirerack

Is it worth $300 to get BMW wheels? Are they that better? 3-4 years down the road, would resale of BMW wheels be that much better? Anything else I should consider?

Assuming the Dunlops are the M3 RFT, how much for those with the F10 wheels at TirerRack? That way, you are comparing apples and apples. Also, I doubt that resale value will be important for 16" wheels. I bought M3's from Tire Rack 10 years ago mounted on 16" BMW steel wheels which were inexpensive and worked very well on my E46.

If the M3 ROF is similar to the older non RFT M3, it should be a very good tire for your area. Adequate snow traction along with great dry road handling for a winter tire.

The M3 RFT are within a few $ of the Blizzak. Have decided to get the F10 with Dunlop.
