Wiper discovery
I'm probably 'preaching to the converted' here, but in case some of you are as unaware as I was until just now, you don't have to hold the switch lever against the upper stop in order to move the blades to the top of the stroke. With the ignition off, the motor must be de-coupled, because they're free to move wherever you want them.
This little snippet might well be in the manual, but I don't recall seeing it when I checked on the switch procedure. |

Not always. I had noticed and used the free movement but there is something about how long it has been since the ignition was turned off or the door closed or something like that. I keep thinking I'm going to test it so I know when and how but I haven't done it yet. Do you know?
