Any NASCAR fans?

My buddy started selling used race tires, if any of you are interested check out his site here - http://race-used-tires.myshopify.com/

Its pretty cool that he made his site with this service "Shopify", they are becoming increasing popular.

Heres what he says, as I'm on the phone with him now - "I don't have a certificate of authenticity as they didn't come with anything. They are the actual tires from the race teams without any signatures. They are tires that came off of the cars and have marks on them with serial numbers that represents which track they ran on."

Never a good idea to buy used race tires. They go off heat cycles or time. When the cycles are up or chemical compound is used from time they are toast. They most of the time have plenty of thread but no stickiness left. You might as well just ride on your rims. Most race tires are not designed to go more than a tank of gas or they would be street tires. Another note about race tires is you have to heat them up to get them sticky and that comes from high speeds and then you have to keep the temps up or the traction falls off.

Oh my god they are just for keepsake like an autograph. Disregard the above post. Time to shut my mouth. Sorry.
