JB4 and PROcede meth video
I saw this video posted somewhere and thought you guys might like it. The racing it at the end. The JB4 car is running a normal 18ohm board so is capped at around 410rw, while the PROcede was running around 18psi with PWM meth, but due to the subpar performance now thinks there was some problem with it. I think the JB4 is going to upgrade to a 15ohm and up the boost as well so they can rematch.

Maybe, but the passenger said it was showing normal meth when he was in the car.

The video clealy states PWM Meth not working correctly. What was Mike's point in posting this? You show us a video of two cars one working correctly and the other not. Either way the JB car only pulls on the last run when the Procede let's off the gas. The E92 looks sweet has some nice upgrades.

No Flasher, No Meth.
Meth may be flowing but if the flow sensor doesnt tell the PROcede meth is flowing then it will not go to map 2 settings. So it will be stuck on map 1 which is basically for a stock car. I know the owner of the PROcede car and he was telling me about some hiccups with the PWM kit and not getting it to work quite right. |

And lulz at this entire thread. Meth was NOT flowing, clutch is slipping so I am not shifting as fast as I could be. Parameters are set for meth but for some reason the pump was not getting power so I am losing power there even though I am running 18 pounds, on top of that I also have a passenger. So there is so surprise whatsoever that he pulls me.
Pointless thread to start when in the video description says that meth isn't flowing and then make the thread and say that it is just to start a tuner war.

There will be another vid tonight if I have time to settle out why its not getting power. My idea is that it is a bad ground.

On old BMW software circa 2007, canclear in the procede will not keep the light from coming on. There is no power loss or limp mode. Solution is to have BMW update the car's software, or turn canclear off and use an appropriate setting on the o2 modifier.

So the code was associated with rear o2 sensor emission limits?

I don't think so. It has something to do with the timing of the canclear function in relation to the light. Canclear keeps readiness from happening, so the system would not be ready to test for any limits. It's just the routine to catch the light does not work the same with very early software. The routine was never modified to work with the earlier software. I don't know exactly why but the tuner encouraged a bmw software update instead. A few of us do not want to do the update, as our cars have been running flawlessly and if it ain't broke, I don't want to introduce changes.

A lot of this discussion is > 1 yr old, so there's some searching involved. Here is mention of a couple codes people saw. Canclear would catch this if it worked with the 2007 software, but it doesn't. Even though the light comes on with the 2007 software, there is no performance hit.

Car with non-functioning meth kit vs. car with one that is working, anyone could have told you the outcome without even watching!
