Safe to run meth on stock downpipes?
1. Is the washer tank kit reliable and safe? Made by bms..
2. Is it safe to run meth with stock downpipes, a 2.5\" catback exhaust, dci , and jb4? |

The BMS underhood kit is great.
Jeff@Topgearsolutions runs meth and 4 cats. Theoretically meth could decrease the life of your catalytic converters. But I know plenty of people who do it with no I'll effects. |

I would personally not run more than 50/50 in a washer tank kit for flammability reasons. If I switch to a trunk kit, I'm going to go with an alcohol-rated fuel cell and stainless AN lines to ensure no nasty invisible methanol fires once this car hits the track next year.
But for now I have the Vishnu PWM meth in the washer tank, 50/50 mix. Just as long as your washer tank pump grommets seal up and you take care to route your piping away from vibrating and hot parts, you'll be golden. I've been running it for 6 weeks now, and I've gone through about 4 gallons of mix. The first gallon went fast due to the addicting rush you get from another 25-40RWHP. The rest gets used on highway pulls passing long strings of cars and trucks. You can't stay in the meth for long on regular roads unless you want to go to jail. Cats - only time will tell. I'm full stock cats and exhaust. If they go, I'm sure there's a ton of good, low mileage cats available from all those cars with upgraded DPs.

Thanks for the great info, I'm just worried about having a meth related fire due to a spill or something.. That'd be a real nightmare

I've heard of some Home Depots selling methanol labeled as methyl hydrate. I couldn't find any in my area.
VP Racing M1 5 gals = $30 Wal-mart Distilled Water 2 gals = $2 ~7 gallons of 70/30 (by vol.) for $32. About $4.50 per gallon. If you use 50/50 (by vol.), it will be about $3.50 per gallon. |

If you dont want to mix u could always buy boost juice from summit racing, around $30 for a 4 gallon box
