Stock Clutch question

Im thinking about upgrading to Rev 3 with Meth but it seams like that is causing clutch slippage for some. My question is 1) what is the typical life of a stock clutch? I have 39K on mine. 2) what is the HP & TQ a new Oem clutch can handle. I have about 2k to spend on mods so what I am trying to prevent is upgrading for more power and then having to put an ACT clutch in to hold it in the same year. Oh and yes I did search through titles before posting =)

I had jb3 with dci and 3" dp and it never slipped before i got the JB4 and meth, day one with meth it was slipping in 3rd and 4th

Bmw states 50k i normal life for oem clutch

Oem clutchs are good for about 300hp. if you want it to last.
I just got off the phone with AR design and my ACT street cltuch and install kit will be here by the weekend

I found a guy locally today that says he can resurface the dual mass fly wheel for 50 bucks

Does anyone know how to check the oem flywheel to make sure its still with in spec

I'm probably not much help to you since I've never replaced OEM clutch yet and haven't had problems with slipping...but let me put it this way...with more power, abuse and mileage, the clutch will slip eventually...this is inevitable...

So if your set on upgrading power and potentially running the Procede aggressive maps..just run the current clutch until you feel slippage..then when it slips get ready to use the rest of the 2k you have saved as money for the clutch..

As soon as I added meth mine slipped.
Babied it on stock boost until I had time to change it (1-2 months) and its fine
